Sales/Project Engineer in Automation Area52 is an product development company in food automation. Our products consist of a variety of automation for seafood & food process\'s. More information can be found on area52.ca. -Material handling such as conveying, pick & place in Food Industry -Automated Netting -Automated Cutting & Scoring -Automated Meat Extraction -Integration of other automated equipment -Digitization/IIOT, industry 4.0 & Advanced manufacturing, proprietary devices to gather factory process\'s to cloud applications. Area52 is looking for motivated personnel to drive sales activities in factory automation from our created products and solutions. The talent base will be trained to have in-depth knowledge of Area52 products, but should have the technical trouble shooting & support basics of industrial automation as well as a sales personality. Base salary and commission is based on experience and performance. We are looking for technical sales engineers or similar, that wishes to excel in driving growth, in a variety of factories requiring advanced automation & digitization.

• Experience selling automation systems in food industry
• Industrial Internet of Things & Industry 4.0 experience an asset
• Driving sales pipeline from quotes to customer delivery and follow up.
• Frequent follow-up of current customers
• 50% + Travel Required
• Highly motivated, energetic and positive attitude
• Learn and become knowledgeable with Area52 Automated Equipment Processing Products
• Learn and become knowledgeable of the customers plants process
• Coordinate and review all incoming requests for quotations
• Understanding team goals and keeping track of personal metrics
• Share knowledge and best practices with co-workers
• Driving Sales of Area52 Products and identification of new project potentials
