The Opportunity
We're looking for a motivated, curious, and results-driven Sales/Business Development Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of engaging new prospects, nurturing existing customer relationships, and helping organizations discover the power of our end-to-end solutions.
We're looking for a motivated, energetic self-starter who enjoys connecting with people, learning new things, and taking initiative. No telecom experience? No problem--we'll train the right candidate.
What You'll Do
Identify and research new industries, organizations, and potential customers
Connect with prospects and help move opportunities through the sales funnel
Keep detailed notes on account activity, customer info, and follow-ups
Build strong, long-term partnerships with customers and deliver outstanding service
Work closely with internal teams (Engineering, Operations, Marketing) to support customer needs
Assist in preparing proposals, RFIs, and RFP responses
Support the sales team with day-to-day activities
Stay up to date on industry trends and Star Solutions' products
Who You Are
Diploma/degree in Business or a related field
2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
Strong communicator--clear, confident, and great with people
Comfortable presenting and walking customers through product basics
Highly organized, detail-focused, and proactive
Goal-driven with a strong sense of ownership
Collaborative and team-oriented
Able to travel within Canada and internationally when required
Telecom experience is a bonus but not required
