Sales Specialist-Leisure Golf Groups & Travel Agent SalesJob Summary: Lead sales for leisure golf group market and provide support to sales team in relation to travel agentsReporting To: Director of Sales and MarketingSalary Range: $35,000-$40,000Responsibilities: - Responsible for all aspects of leisure golf groups (12 people+) including responding to availability requests and quoting rates, booking groups into the CRM and PMS systems, issuing contracts, taking group deposits, entry of rooming lists into the PMS, booking golf tee times and being the main point of contact for the group organizers- Point of contact for PEI's Finest Golf and Golf PEI for arranging and organizing golf group requirements- Main point of contact for all properties in relation to golf requirements, complaints, administrative details- In conjunction with the revenue manager generate the required analytical reports in a timely mannero Weekly golf packages sold reporto Weekly golf groups sold report- Meet regularly with Golf PEI and PEI's Finest Golf to discuss the golf market, trends and mutual golf campaigns, data sharing initiatives- Attend golf shows to help actively promote the leisure golf market- Attend and prepare stats and information for meetings as required- Serve as point of contact for all travel agencies, to provide support to them as needed, as well as the sales team- All other duties as assignedSkills, Abilities and Qualifications: - Knowledge of the golf industry would be beneficial- Effective understanding of hotel operations- Reservations and or sales experience is required- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills- Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner- Knowledge of Salesforce and Maestro an asset- Well-developed skills using Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook)- Post-secondary education in business or hospitality related field considered an asset or equivalent experienceJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per yearBenefits:
