Job Description

Job Summary:
Atlantic Hose & Fittings is seeking an experienced salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a depth of knowledge and great understanding of the hose & fittings industry coupled with excellent communication skills, pride themselves on customer service while multitasking effectively.

Duties:

Customer Account Management

-Build and maintain strong relationships to enhance customer loyalty and retention
- Provide personalized product recommendations, solutions, and expert advice tailored to customer requirements.

Business Development

-Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through calls, emails, and proactive customer engagement
-Conduct follow-ups on leads, quotes, and previous interactions to close deals

Strategic Sales

-Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.

-Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell AHF's product lines, including hoses, fittings, and related systems

Order Management and Fulfillment

-Handle end-to-end order processing, from quoting to invoicing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

-Coordinate with logistics to confirm timely delivery of products to meet customer expectations

-Resolve order-related issues, including delays, shortages, and returns, with professionalism and urgency.

Requirements

:
- Sales Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of industry experience

-Familiarity with hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, or related products is required
- Mechanical aptitude or general mechanical knowledge
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

-Proficiency in using computerized systems for data entry and record keeping

-Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette
- Strong written and verbal communication skills-Punctual, reliable and desire to learn

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
