Reporting to the Senior Management Team, this position will play an integral role in our growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing our customers while building additional new business. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and have a professional manner with the ability to deal with a diverse group of people.Responsibilities: To build relationships with our customers Customer communication through networking, phone, email and site visit to build new business and gain new clients Prepare customer quotes and invoicing. Monitor status of orders to ensure delivery timelines Manage customer relationships Establish sales budgets Monitor inventory levels and prepare purchase orders to supplierKey Skills: A working understanding the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and Sage50 Experience with industrial, safety and marine supplies Flexible at prioritizing workload to meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people and ability to deal with challenging situations Strong attention to detail Adaptable, flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently or in a team Sound judgment and decision-making abilityMinimum Qualifications: Minimum of two (2) years sales experience in industrial sales, and industrial distribution environment. Knowledge of the tools and techniques for effectively working in a defined region, identifying prospective customers, and maintain quality relationships Valid Canadian Drivers LicenseApply electrically, no phone calls please.
