Crumps Naturals is a family-owned and operated premium pet treat manufacturer. Started in 2006, Crumps Naturals has built a loyal following within the pet specialty market and is currently distributed throughout Canada and The United States, and we are looking for an experienced sales representative to aid in the growth of our brand in Canada.
Relevant Work Experience:
The ideal candidate will have one year of sales experience, and is experienced in developing and maintaining relationships with independently owned businesses as well as larger multilocation chains. This candidate will be proficient and fluent in reading and writing skills. Experience in the pet industry is an asset.Responsibilities: Our Sales representative will work directly with independent pet specialty retailers to place and grow Crumps Naturals products. Ideal candidate will have the ability to develop strong, long-term relationships with store owners and staff members. Regular visits and staff training seminars are vital tools in developing account growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and can work independently and as part of a team. Our Sales representative will have to maintain reports and accounts using Excel. Using MS PowerPoint for presentations. This candidate will take part in consumer and trade shows, that promote the product lines.Recipe for Success Minimum of one year of sales experience, Pet speciality industry is an asset. A positive, team Player, professional, and proactive attitude with strong communication skills. Self-starter and can work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent planning and organizational skills Results driven Ability to cold call and drive new businessA Few Extra Ingredients The position requires continuous traveling among Ontario and the assigned territory. This position will require the candidate to work on occasional weekends. The individual must be skilled with computers for company and customer communication, sales reports, and additional materials. The candidate should be comfortable with public speaking and be able to deliver account sales trainings and seminars clearly in English. Valid Driver's License is required.
