VanPeople Network Ltd. is a leading multidisciplinary online classified and media advertising company located in Vancouver (Canada). The contents hosted on Vancouver.com gets visited millions of times by local Chinese speaking users on a monthly basis and we also have thousands of advertising clients coming from various industries located in the great Vancouver region. Our iOS and Android App have over 30,000 daily active users. In addition, our various WeChat Official accounts have over 200,000 followers and the articles we posted each day are shared thousands of times by our readers. We have also participated in the hosting of various large events for multiple famous Chinese celebrities during recent years.



We are currently looking for multiple full-time Sales Representatives to join our team. Our sales representatives are responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. To be a successful sales representative at our company, you must be comfortable doing cold calls and communicating in a professional manner. You must be able to successfully negotiate with clients and close sales. In addition, you must also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:



Maintain a professional support with clients and represent company standards at all times.

Communicate with clients to understand their needs and find solutions through products and services.

Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how services meet their needs

Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.

Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.

Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information.

Qualifications:



High school diploma (Required); Bachelor's degree (Preferred).

Minimum 1 years of experience working in sales, preferably in telemarketing. Priority will be given to applicants with relevant experiences in IT services and products.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

The ability to manage customers' commitment, engage in negotiation and close the sales process.

Good interpersonal skills such as telemarketing skills, communication skills, active listening and customer care.

Ability to multitask and adapt to changes.

Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.

Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal).

Cantonese speaking ability is an asset.

Previously established sales relationship with local companies (Preferred).

Lived in Vancouver for more than 2 years (Preferred).

Experience in outbound sales (phone, call center or telemarketing) (Preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
