We are seeking a
motivated and experienced Sales Representative
to join our team. This role is a vital component of our growth strategy, focusing on managing client relationships and acting as an
outside sales representative
within the
HVAC sector
. The ideal candidate will leverage a strong understanding of HVAC systems and general trade knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales performance.
Main Responsibilities
Client Account Management:
Manage and cultivate relationships with existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and maximize long-term business potential.
Business Development:
Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the industrial and commercial HVAC market.
Client Engagement:
Conduct site visits, client meetings, and presentations to understand needs, promote solutions, and act as a key point of contact.
Proposal Development:
Prepare, present, and negotiate competitive quotes and technical proposals aligned with client requirements and company capabilities.
Sales Coordination:
Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., project coordination, operations) to ensure smooth transitions and successful project execution.
Market Intelligence:
Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback using CRM tools.
Technical Consultation:
Utilize general knowledge of mechanical systems and construction practices to provide preliminary technical advice to clients.
Skills and Qualifications
Relevant Experience:
Proven experience in
HVAC sales
or a related technical trade (e.g., as a
Sales Representative
or Outside Sales).
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical practices, and general construction procedures.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid driver's license (Required). Relevant trade licenses or small project management experience (An asset).
Bilingual (French and English):
Spoken and written proficiency in French and English (An asset).
Personal Qualities:
Highly
self-motivated
, results-driven, strong sense of urgency, and excellent time management skills.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client relationships.
Software Proficiency:
Experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
