THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to ongoing growth, ALPA Equipment Ltd. is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, and driven individual to join our sales team. This isn't just another sales job -- it's a chance to take charge of a respected territory, build lasting customer relationships, and represent leading equipment brands with the support of a well-established, family-owned Canadian company.
Under the supervision of the
Sales Manager
, the
Sales Representative
will be responsible for promoting and selling our forestry equipment brands, including
Landrich, Ponsse, and Rotobec
, within your assigned territory.
Specific Responsibilities:
Maintain relationships with existing customers while prospecting and developing your assigned territory.
Contact & arrange meetings with potential customers via telephone, e-mail, or face-to-face.
Generate leads & identify opportunities for new business within the market.
Negotiate pricing with potential customers and close sales.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Continuous improvement of product knowledge.
Invite customers to company-sponsored events.
Attend all industry trade shows and events.
Work closely with the accounts receivable department.
REQUIREMENTS
Education, experience, and skills required:
High School Diploma with relevant experience.
Computer skills.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Ambitious and driven personality.
Confident and experienced negotiator.
Relevant industry experience.
Well organized and self-motivated.
Valid driver's License: clean abstract.
75% travel is required.
Ability to work in an environment of changing priorities.
Ability to work 40 + hours per week.
Fluent in French and English

Responsabilites Specifiques :
Maintenir les relations avec les clients existants tout en prospectant et en developpant le territoire assigne.
Contacter et organiser des reunions avec les clients potentiels, soit par telephone, par courriel ou en personne.
Generer des prospects et identifier des opportunites de marche.
Negocier les prix avec les clients potentiels et conclure les ventes.
Etablir des liens a long terme avec de nouveaux clients existants.
Ameliorations continues de la connaissance des produits.
Inviter les clients aux evenements parraines par l'entreprise.
Assister a tous les salons et evenements de l'industrie.
Travailler en collaboration avec le departement des comptes recevables.

Formation, experience et competences requises :
Competences en informatique.

Experience pertinente dans l'industrie.

75 % de deplacement est requis.
