We?re looking for a Sales Representative based in Alberta with significant travel across Alberta, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.
Our client is a leading Canadian supplier of specialized drilling and foundation equipment used in construction, mining, and geotechnical projects. This is a field-based role for a motivated, hands-on sales professional who enjoys travel, cold calling, and developing long-term customer relationships. You?ll be responsible for growing business and expanding market share across a large, high-potential territory.
Sales Representative responsibilities:
? Develop new business and manage existing customer relationships
? Promote and sell specialized equipment, tooling, and parts
? Conduct in-person client visits, product demos, and presentations
? Collaborate with technical and service teams to support customer needs
? Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
? Travel up to 70% throughout Alberta, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories
The successful candidate has:
? 5+ years of sales experience in construction, heavy equipment, or related industries
? Proven success in prospecting and cold calling
? Strong relationship-building and communication skills
? Technical aptitude and confidence presenting equipment-based solutions
? Valid driver?s license and comfort with extensive travel
Compensation and benefits:
? Base salary of $80,000
? Commission plan with first-year guarantee (target earnings around $120,000)
