Job Description

Olds Softgels Inc. is your precision-focused softgel manufacturer in cannabis, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical products. We are looking for a motivated, results-driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills to be our Sales Representative.The Sales Representative will manage the sales activities of the organization for Cannabis, Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical products by identifying and securing prospective customers and supporting existing clients.Job Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients.
  • Determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates and develop a plan/strategy with management to achieve objectives.
  • Negotiate all contracts with perspective clients.
  • Forecast customer demands on a monthly basis and set performance goals accordingly to achieve budgets.
  • Analyze data, develop insights, and execute business plans to deliver growth objectives.
  • Identify and help implement market strategy for new products.
  • Coordinate customer activities between sales department and other functional areas of the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition and report to appropriate internal functions.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as the Production Manager, Marketing Coordinator, Customer Service Representatives to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Job Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred with 5 years or more experience in the consumer products industry, which includes management of key customers and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in sales in the Cannabis sector preferred.
  • Contract Manufacturing experience considered to be an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relations skills combined with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to manage workflow pressures and competing priorities.
