Job Duties

Sell, plan, and manage asphalt repair and paving projects up to $250K.Conduct site take-offs, develop scopes of work, and prepare proposals. Oversee crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality delivery. Manage project safety, budgets, and schedules. Develop processes to scale larger-scope projects. Expand off-season services such as snow removal and parkade maintenance.

Education, Experience & Skills Required

CET, C.Tech, E.I.T., or equivalent construction education. 5+ years combined experience in asphalt/paving operations, sales, estimating, or project management. Hands-on paving equipment operation experience. Proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors. Strong estimating, scheduling, and organizational skills.

Assets

Experience in snow removal or parkade maintenance. Familiarity with estimating and scheduling software. Strong network with commercial property owners/managers. Experience bidding as a prime contractor.

Safety, Physical & Culture Fit

Safety-first mindset (COR, PPE, daily hazard checks). Comfortable working in Alberta weather with flexible hours as needed. Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs. Team player, accountable, and adaptable to a growing, entrepreneurial environment. Strong leadership presence in field settings with a safety-first approach.
