Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support

Answer phones and assist customers with product inquiries and orders Complete accurate sales paperwork, including picklists and invoices Assist with basic estimating for customer projects Help walk-in customers with materials and product advice

Yard & Inventory Operations

Load customer vehicles safely and efficiently Receive incoming shipments and update inventory records Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe Track inventory levels and report low stock

Logistics & Scheduling

Schedule deliveries and coordinate with drivers Communicate delivery timelines with customers Prioritize and dispatch deliveries effectively Ensure paperwork is completed accurately

Team Supervision

Lead and support yard staff with daily tasks Train new staff on safety, equipment, and yard procedures Ensure a safe and productive work environment Maintain a positive, team-oriented culture

Qualifications

Prior experience in ICFs, construction, landscaping, or building supply preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Proficient with computers, including

Microsoft Office / Excel

and inventory/POS systems Basic understanding of construction materials and estimating Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset Able to lead a small team and juggle multiple responsibilities Willingness to multi-task, take initiative, and tackle hands-on tasks -- including cleanup, organizing, and assisting team members as needed Valid driver's license and own transportation Must be able to perform duties that involve lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs
