Premier Polmarex Inc, a leading food distribution company based in Mississauga, is seeking a Sales Account Executive. This role will focus on identifying and securing new opportunities/business focused on the European, Middle Eastern and South Asian Ethnic channels, in particular with grocery stores and ethnic chains across the country.
The right person possesses the ability to find new business opportunities, consistently manages their calendar to ensure time is well managed, having face to face meetings, and convey strong leadership, ambition and drive to achieve sales and success.
You are an energetic, self-motivated, organized and creative team player who has a track record of success with existing industry relationships in the South Asian Ethnic channels and the ability to build new ones. You excel at hunting for business and with the required drive and desire to succeed.
Responsibilities:
Developing new sales opportunities and building upon existing accounts
Managing Accounts for long term success
Daily handling and tracking of sales across Ethnic channels with weekly reports submitted to management in relation to sales calls, new account targets, sales growth, etc.
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes
Accurately process customer transactions such as orders and quotes
Manage time effectively and strive to exceed business goals
Work effectively with other members of the team
Understand market dynamics and the ever changing customer landscape, competive activities, and potential for new products and services
Requirements:
Persuasive skills are an asset
You're a lover of food and are familiar with the purchasing decisions that a customer makes. You have a natural ability to present and promote food in enticing and exciting ways.
Has the ability to adapt to different environments and business settings
2+ years of experience in a sales role
Solid track record in developing growth with new and existing accounts
Exceptional presentation and communication skills
Strategic thinker
Resourceful, organized
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must be Literate & Fluent in English
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Valid G License with access to a vehicle
Clean Criminal Record is required by some of our customers and is thus a requirement for this role
Position is available immediately. Salary: Basic plus commissions. Position is full-time.
