We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our eBooks and Online Resources sales team serving the EMENA region. Your role will involve communication of information on our products and services to Higher Education customers and prospects, attendance at professional meetings and conferences and in-person client visits across the territory. You will be part of the team responsible for the sales and promotion of eBooks and Online resources within the region, reporting to the Head of Sales EMENA.

What you will be doing:

  • Working with the eBooks Head of Sales EMENA to establish and execute a sales strategy for the region
  • Maximize sales revenue to meet or exceed regional targets
  • Maintain and build a healthy sales pipeline to ensure continued growth
  • Maintain, build, and manage strong working relationships with Sales Agents and other partners
  • Travelling in the region to seek out new opportunities and customers, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to maximize upselling potential and repeat business
  • To share knowledge, best practice and experience with the wider Taylor and Francis product and sales teams
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years previous experience from a sales or business development executive position
  • The ability to work remotely as part of a wider team
  • Consultative sales skills and a customer focused approach
  • Excellent influencing skills
  • Ability to create and maintain positive and effective relationships with external customers
  • Proactive and independent approach to managing your work
  • A clear communicator both in writing, through remote communication tools and in-person, including confident presentation skills
  • Competent user of core MS Office and familiarity with CRM databases
  • Knowledge and experience of academic publishing
  • Previous experience of selling into or working with Academic Higher Education library markets
  • Experience of selling digital content both directly and via third parties
