The Sales Estimator covers the initial reachout and onboarding of clients, pre-construction bidding for CMCS leads and projects. This includes sales calls and emails with new clients. They will be expected to contact sub-trades and suppliers for estimates, create estimates for clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collect estimations from suppliers and sub-contractors Prepare estimates for CMCS clients Compile sub and supplier estimates for final hiring decisions Setup site meetings with subcontractors and clients Coordinate with suppliers for material costs Create scope of work for estimates

Requirements:

Work experience in the Canadian construction industry for 5+ years (Nova Scotian experience preferred, building code knowledge would be an asset) Work experience in sales (construction sales preferred) Work experience in construction estimation Have knowledge about residential and commercial construction Have intimate knowledge of the phases of construction Experience with estimation platforms Proficient in advanced math Have a reliable mode of transportation Experience with Buildertrend or other project management softwares One or more of the following: Red Seal in Carpentry, Construction Management Diploma or Degree, Business Administration Diploma / Degree*

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm

Occasional evenings upon request

Standard company operating hours are 8am-4pm.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
