About the role
The Sales Director- Canada will be responsible for building and leading an entrepreneurial team that includes both key account managers and territory managers, developing our sales strategy, and positioning and promoting BioK+ product portfolio throughout all of Canada.

Ensure Kerry is building a robust and profitable sales pipeline, driving accountability through the technical sales/account managers in Canada
Ensure Kerry has best in class relationships with customer executives
Partner and collaborate cross functionally with other functions within Kerry i.e. marketing, R&D/applications, regulatory, and supply chain
Brand ambassador: build an awareness of Kerry\xe2\x80\x99s growing presence in the functional beverages / supplements directly with Nestle and via tradeshows and various industry networking opportunities.
Develops with the strategic account plans with mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones over a three to five-year period
Executes the strategy together with the Global Account Manager(s)
Line-manages, coaches and develops the Account Manager(s)
Develops and maintains targeted high-level relationships and contacts
Drives the coordination of projects in line with the agreed account plans and Kerry\'s strategy
Ensures margin growth year on year and in line with the account plan
Develops pricing strategy with Kerry finance and executes price negotiations
Supports the account managers in making it easier and more valuable for customers to do business with Kerry
Manages the execution and commercialization of projects
Supports the execution and servicing of the portfolio as needed

Qualifications
Deep understanding of functional ingredients landscape, competitor set, B2B customers and finished product branded players.
A strong sense of entrepreneurialism, highly networked within the health and wellness, supplements and emerging brands eco-system. The ideal candidate will have strong insights into the NA supplements category (subject matter expert, strong technical aptitude, and customer access).
The preferred candidate will also understand the Direct to Consumer, online, Multi-level Marketing (MLM) and contract manufacturing landscape for the supplements channel.
Displays a passion for the functional food / nutritional supplements category and has a keen interest in the topics of nutrition and general wellness.
Industry credibility / respected \xe2\x80\x93 ability to navigate and network within this eco-system
Commercially driven \xe2\x80\x93 a hunger to develop profitable sales
Commercial leader with experience at leveraging and supporting high performing sales teams.
Strong ability to work and navigate via multiple internal stakeholders (both in NA region and in other regions across the globe) in the Kerry matrix structure.
Ability to portfolio sell a broad range of technology\xe2\x80\x99s and leverage the appropriate internal technical business development leaders within Kerry
