The Sales Development Specialist is accountable for contributing to a collaborative sales environment, and offering support to the Sales team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Helping to drive sales Improvement across the Ontario Commercial team, through support to the Account Executives
  • Track and report on issues related to process, sales admin, unresolved customer escalations and challenges
  • Escalation prime for Account Executives for challenges that remain unresolved through regular process
  • Address Account Executive issues with tools, process, customer ,contracts, legal, credit, cx resolution that have gone through the proper channels but remain unresolved or require multiple follow ups
  • Act as a Commercial Sales Subject Matter Expert, by staying current and completing all training through fast track to maintain status as a subject matter expert, with tools, process, cross functional teams and assistance interpreting reporting
  • Preform minor sales administration duties that impede sales or customer resolution (e.g. credits, in building coverage requests, demo's, legal, SFDC, optic )
What you will bring:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree is an asset
  • Related experience in sales / sales support / sales operations
  • Strong understanding of Rogers provisioning systems, internal sales processes, cross functional teams
  • Knowable of Enterprise sales tools (e.g. SFDC, Optic, etc)
  • Product knowledge in Rogers product suits
  • Telecom experience is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment; ability to work under changing conductions
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills
