Department Overview

The TD Equipment Finance team is a Centre of Excellence within Business Banking. Our mandate is to structure equipment financing (leases and loans) for business clients and prospects as an alternative to other conventional bank sources of financing such as term loans.

Job Requirements

• Leverage proficiency of various software applications/programs to ensure timely and accurate preparation of documentation; strong knowledge of T-Value, PPSA Policy and Registration processes, MS Word and Excel.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at every interaction and execute on plans to improve the customer experience.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with internal fulfillment partners in order to maximize efficiency and customer service.
• Actively refer to other business partners both within Business Banking and across TDBFG and respond effectively to reciprocal referrals.
• Actively Participate in the performance management process including performance reviews, feedback and coaching sessions as well as performance and development discussions.
• Seek knowledge both formal and informal in line with PDP objectives.
• Embrace and promote a positive environment that supports a diverse workplace.
• A strong team player assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.

5 years Equipment Finance Experience a must.
College or University graduate preferred.

Reporting to the Manager Operations - Documentation Ontario & West, TD Equipment Finance (TDEF), the Senior Lease & Sales Support Specialist position is responsible for managing documentation for new originations and sales support for new clients. Support sales and credit teams, through new origination and sales support processes.

• Program all approved LOC (Lines of Credit) in to TDEF Book of Record and ensure availability is calculated correctly, forward to TDEF Credit for Approval.
• Fulfill documentation for sale and pre-audit purposes for complex transactions and work with legal if required to prepare security package for client execution
• Ensure all disbursement conditions have been met at draw submission, clearly identify required security items for funding.
• Be knowledgeable of and comply with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct.
• Reporting to the Manager Operations - Documentation Ontario & West, TD Equipment Finance (TDEF), this position is responsible for managing documentation for new originations and sales support for new clients. Support sales and credit teams, through new origination and sales support processes.
• Responsible for entry and maintenance of Master Credit Approvals/Draws and Loan details into host systems.
• Obtain/compile documentation as required to meet AML and CAIQ guidelines.
• Register/Assess transactions for PMSI and review/obtain Search and Waiver as required.
• Respond to customer service inquiries.
