About the role



As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in identifying, contacting and thoughtfully engaging with a portfolio of assigned customers. The SDR sources and actively develops new sales opportunities, leading our outbound demand generation efforts and scheduling conversations with inbound and outbound prospects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and hungry to start in a technology sales career and willing to put in the work to learn a lead generation skill set that will be an asset to their long-term sales career.

This position is fully remote, but we welcome the employee to join us in our Vancouver office for a visit whenever they are in town!

What You'll Do



Perform customer research and identify target audience and personas. Conduct targeted outreach and lead discovery calls with prospects. Book outbound meetings through a multi-channel approach of cold calls, emails, social selling, networking and independent research. Quickly follow up with inbound leads that do not complete the book and a demo work flow to book a meeting. Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets. Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage Account Executives for next steps. Use Salesforce and Outreach to maximize the output from your activity. Live and breathe all things sales and revenue creation.

Who you are



1+ years of experience in Sales Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field Self driven and motivated to surpass your sales goals Willingness and desire to work in a fast-paced and high-growth environment Persistent to keep pushing for results, even when facing rejection and adversity Experience with cold calling Excellent written and oral communication and active listening skills Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization Creative problem-solving approach Strong analytical and organizational skills

It's a Bonus If You



Have experience working in SaaS, particularly within hospitality, in a Sales Development or Partnership Experience role. Are familiar with or have previous experience in the Short Term Rental Industry Are familiar with Salesforce and Outreach. Have exposure to Excel, LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Enjoy the majority of your time spent working autonomously.
