This is not a typical Inside Sales role. You are the

first inside sales hire

at a high-growth, deep-tech company. Your mission is to build the outbound sales engine from the ground up. You will be responsible for generating the initial pipeline, qualifying complex, high-value leads, and co-authoring the sales playbook that Mechasys will use to scale. We need a "builder" who is meticulous, relentless, and eager to own a critical function of the company.

Core Responsibilities



1. Aggressive Outbound Prospecting (Hunter Mentality)



Execute high-volume, targeted outbound prospecting campaigns (personalized emails, LinkedIn messaging) to Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) in the construction industry (e.g., General Contractors, BIM Managers, VPs of Operations). Research key accounts to identify project opportunities and map organizational structures to find the "Champion" and "Technical Validator." Develop and iterate on outbound messaging in collaboration with leadership.

2. Rigorous Lead Qualification



Act as the first point of contact for all new business, managing and qualifying both inbound and outbound-generated leads. Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand a prospect's current layout processes, technical requirements, project timelines, and purchasing authority. Master the Mechasys value proposition and sales methodology to skillfully navigate objections and differentiate us from legacy methods. Book qualified, high-value product demonstrations and meetings for the executive and field sales teams.

3. Foundational CRM & Revenue Operations



Take absolute ownership of CRM data integrity.

As the primary user, you will be responsible for ensuring our CRM is clean, accurate, and the single source of truth. Meticulously log all sales activities, update lead/contact/opportunity statuses, and clean existing data. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and build the first generation of sales reports to measure what's working.

Qualifications & Attributes



Required:



2-4+ years of experience in a B2B sales role (e.g., SDR, BDR, Inside Sales), preferably in a high-growth startup. Proven track record of exceeding quotas through outbound prospecting. Experience with complex, high-ACV (Average Contract Value) sales cycles (e.g., deep-tech, hardware, or complex enterprise SaaS).

Meticulous attention to detail.

You must be obsessed with data hygiene and CRM discipline. A "builder" and "owner" mentality. You thrive in ambiguity and are excited by the challenge of creating processes from scratch. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English; French is a major asset).

Bonus Points (Preferred):



Experience in ConTech (Construction Technology), robotics, or a related hardware/SaaS field. Familiarity with the personas and business model of the commercial construction industry. Proficiency with AI-powered sales augmentation tools.

Compensation:

Le poste



Il ne s'agit pas d'un poste typique en ventes internes.
Vous serez le premier representant des ventes internes au sein d'une entreprise deep-tech en pleine expansion. Votre mission : batir le moteur de prospection commerciale a partir de zero.

Vous serez responsable de la generation du pipeline initial, de la qualification de leads complexes et a forte valeur, et de la co-creation du playbook commercial que Mechasys utilisera pour se developper a grande echelle.

Nous recherchons un batisseur, une personne rigoureuse, perseverante et motivee a prendre la responsabilite d'une fonction essentielle de l'entreprise.

Responsabilites principales


1. Prospection proactive (profil chasseur)



Executer des campagnes de prospection ciblees a haut volume (courriels personnalises, messages LinkedIn) vers les profils clients ideaux (ICPs) du secteur de la construction (ex. : entrepreneurs generaux, responsables BIM, VP operations). Rechercher les comptes cles pour identifier les opportunites de projet et cartographier les structures organisationnelles afin de trouver le "Champion" et le "Validateur technique". Developper et ajuster les messages de prospection en collaboration avec la direction.

2. Qualification rigoureuse des leads



Agir comme premier point de contact pour toutes les nouvelles opportunites, qu'elles proviennent de campagnes entrantes ou sortantes. Mener des appels de decouverte approfondis afin de comprendre les processus actuels du prospect, ses besoins techniques, ses echeanciers de projet et son autorite d'achat. Maitriser la proposition de valeur Mechasys et notre methodologie de vente pour gerer les objections et demontrer notre avantage sur les methodes traditionnelles. Planifier des demonstrations produit et des rencontres qualifiees a haute valeur pour l'equipe de direction et les ventes terrain.

3. Gestion du CRM et operations commerciales



Assurer la proprete et la fiabilite absolues des donnees CRM : vous serez le principal utilisateur et garant de son integrite. Documenter minutieusement toutes les activites commerciales, mettre a jour les statuts de leads, contacts et opportunites, et nettoyer les donnees existantes. Suivre les indicateurs de performance cles (KPI) et elaborer les premiers rapports de ventes pour mesurer l'efficacite des actions.

Profil rechercheCompetences requises :



2 a 4 ans d'experience dans un role en ventes B2B (SDR, BDR, ventes internes), idealement dans une startup en forte croissance. Antecedents prouves de depassement des objectifs grace a la prospection sortante. Experience dans des cycles de vente complexes et a valeur contractuelle elevee (ACV) -- par exemple dans la deep-tech, le materiel electronique ou les solutions SaaS d'entreprise. Rigueur exceptionnelle et sens du detail : vous etes obsede(e) par la qualite des donnees et la discipline CRM. Esprit d'initiative : vous aimez construire a partir de zero et evoluer dans l'ambiguite. Excellentes competences en communication orale et ecrite en anglais (le francais est un atout majeur).

Atouts (preferables) :



Experience dans la ConTech (technologie de construction), la robotique ou des environnements melant materiel et SaaS. Connaissance des personas et modeles economiques de la construction commerciale. Maitrise d'outils de vente augmentee par IA.
