The Role
As a Sales Development Representative at Tracktile, you'll be the first point of contact for manufacturers who could benefit from our software. This isn't just about reading scripts. It's about having genuine conversations, understanding real business problems, and connecting the right people with solutions that matter.
You'll spend your days identifying potential customers, conducting outbound outreach (calls and emails), qualifying leads, and booking meetings for our sales team. You'll become an expert in how manufacturers think about and buy software, and you'll be essential to our growth.

What You'll Do
Prospecting & Outreach (70% of your time)
Research and identify target manufacturing companies that fit our ideal customer profile
Execute outbound campaigns via phone, email, and LinkedIn
Make ~70 calls per day to decision-makers in manufacturing operations
Craft personalized outreach that resonates with your prospects' specific challenges
Qualification & Discovery (20% of your time)
Have meaningful conversations to understand prospect needs and pain points
Qualify leads based on fit, timeline, and decision-making authority
Educate prospects on how modern manufacturing software creates value
Set qualified meetings for Account Executives
Pipeline Management & Learning (10% of your time)
Maintain accurate records in our CRM (you'll live in HubSpot/Salesforce)
Track metrics and activity to understand what's working
Collaborate with sales and marketing on campaign effectiveness
Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and our product evolution
Who You Are
You have:
A proven ability to pick up the phone and have confident, professional conversations
Strong written communication skills--you can craft emails that get responses
A genuine curiosity about how businesses work and what makes them tick
The resilience to hear "no" and keep going with enthusiasm
A competitive drive and goal-oriented mindset
Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience)
Bonus points if you have:
1-2 years of SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience
Experience with manufacturing, industrial, or technical B2B sales
Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
A track record of exceeding quotas or targets
