About the role



RevTalent is recruiting for a Sales Development Representative in the Halifax/Bedford area.

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating sales leads by engaging with potential prospects.

You'll manage a high volume of target accounts to create qualified opportunities for our team. You will own outreach to net new prospective customers, educate leads about our services, and gauge and generate interest. You'll utilize channels like email and phone calls.

What you'll do



Build and generate buisness through primarily cold outreach and prospecting Identify how our solutions meet the needs of our customers. Generate leads and build relationships by finding new potential sales outlets. Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps. Identify prospects' needs and qualify viable sales opportunities. Build short and long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives. Report to sales development leadership with daily, weekly, and monthly results.

Excellent communication skills to ensure that both your project and its dependencies are successful Strong conversationalist who's excited to sit down and have meaningful conversations 2-3 years of Business Development experience, ideally in payment processing or Saas technology Show up every day, having the courage to do the difficult but necessary stuff Be a champion and find moments of celebration for the team Strong collabrative, team player A proactive, self-starter; someone who can roll up their sleeves and solve problems on their own initiative
