  • Competitive Salary: $52,000 - $56,000/annum based on previous experience and education

Sales Coordinator
Members of our Sales Office team do more than \xe2\x80\x9csell\xe2\x80\x9d the warm, engaging and anticipative service that Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is renowned for \xe2\x80\x93 they live it! Showcase your outstanding interpersonal skills as a Sales Coordinator, where you will provide organizational and administrative support to The Fairmont Chateau Whistler and memorable service to your guests. What you will be doing
  • Reporting to the Director, Sales & Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers
  • Assist and conduct site inspections
  • Prioritize all telephone calls and in-person visitors, scheduling appointments as required
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all guests, vendors, Colleagues and global sales network
  • Ensure all sales promotional literature is current and updated
  • Provide all administration duties for the Sales office; including the preparation of contracts, reports and plans
  • Assist with the maintenance of accounts, contact, activity and business details within appropriate software applications
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
  • Previous sales (2 years) or administrative experience preferred
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and or relevant computer applications required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
  • Minimum typing ability of 50 wpm is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable, with great attention to detail
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Ability to meet deadlines, while working in a fast paced environment
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
  • Frequent sitting throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and walking
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Additional Information
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
