The Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving Resort-wide sales growth across all revenue departments with an emphasis on hotel & meeting room bookings and corporate group sales. This role involves managing client inquiries, coordinating sales efforts, maintaining relationships with corporate clients, and ensuring a seamless booking experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a customer-centric approach, creative thought and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Actively identify and pursue corporate clients for meetings, conferences, retreats, and special events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses.
Assist in receiving inbound calls and starting the booking process
Develop customized event packages and proposals to meet client needs.
Work collaboratively with Event Coordinator and revenue department heads to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
Conduct site tours and presentations for potential bookings.
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to enhance sales strategies.
Hotel & Event Sales Support:
? Assist in generating leads and securing room bookings from corporate clients, travel agencies, and group reservations.
? Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and event planners.
? Prepare proposals, contracts, and agreements for corporate clients and ensure timely follow-ups.
? Support business development initiatives with research, client prospecting, and lead generation activities.
? Manage incoming inquiries and provide prompt responses to clients regarding availability, rates, and special packages.
? Work with the Marketing department to develop targeted promotions for corporate clients and special events.
Administrative & Coordination Tasks:
? Maintain an up-to-date database of corporate accounts and sales activities in the CRM system.
? Coordinate site inspections, sales calls, and client meetings.
? Track room bookings, occupancy levels, and revenue performance, ensuring alignment with sales targets.
? Prepare reports on sales performance, including forecasting and revenue analysis.
? Assist in organizing trade shows, networking events, and corporate presentations.
? Collaborate with the front office and reservations team to ensure smooth guest experiences.
Qualifications & Experience:
? Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
? 2+ years of experience in hotel sales, corporate sales, or hospitality industry.
? Strong understanding of hotel operations and corporate sales strategies.
? Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and reservation systems.
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
? Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work in a fast-paced environment.
