The Coordinator (Sales, Catering) undertakes a variety of administrative tasks to directly support the sales and catering teams. This role is responsible for ensuring all details are taken care of once tasks for the coordination of an account or event is assigned to them. By utilizing their outstanding organizational and time management skills, they will assist in ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest experience.
Impact & Influence on Guests, Associates and Business
Complete tasks, accurately and in a timely manner as delegated from Sales Managers, Sales Representatives and Catering Consultants
Contracts, proposals, rooming lists, accounting functions (deposits, billing, rebates), event/room setup detail, group block management (wash and cut off), diagramming, etc.
Ensure group resume and events are clearly and accurately detailed for all departments
Arrival/departure requirements, parking requirements, potential outlet usage and times, high volume periods, special requests, etc.
Communicate all guest account/group/event details and needs thoroughly throughout the hotel
Education, Experience, and Skills
Post-secondary education or hospitality certificate is an asset
Knowledge of Hotel Banquet, Front Desk or Reservation operations/experience is an asset
Computer skills and knowledge of various programs
