As we expand, we are looking for a motivated Sales & Business Development Representative to help accelerate our growth and build strong long-term customer relationships.
Role Overview
We are seeking a driven, energetic, and relationship-focused Sales & Business Development Representative to grow our customer base, nurture existing accounts, and promote our expanding product lines. You will be the face of MBR Technologies -- identifying new opportunities, educating customers, generating sales, and supporting project inquiries.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys meeting people, understands the construction/material supply space (or is willing to learn quickly), and can close deals confidently.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Lead Generation
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with builders, contractors, developers, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and distributors.
Actively follow up with inbound leads and convert them into paying customers.
Conduct outreach via calls, emails, site visits, and networking events.
Present and promote MBR Technologies' product lines including construction materials, descalers, specialty equipment, and more.
Account Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
Understand customer needs and provide product recommendations.
Manage quotes, pricing, and order follow-ups.
Ensure timely communication throughout the sales cycle.
Business Development
Research market trends, competitor pricing, and new product opportunities.
Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Build partnerships with contractors and property management companies.
Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
Administrative / CRM
Track all leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in our CRM system.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Coordinate with internal teams for inventory, shipping, and after-sales support.
QualificationsRequired
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently.
Ability to build rapport and maintain customer relationships.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for client visits.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Previous experience in sales, business development, construction supply, plumbing/HVAC materials, or technical products.
Understanding of construction workflows, renovation projects, or building materials.
Experience preparing quotes or using CRM tools.
Compensation
Base salary + commission
(competitive and performance-driven).
Mileage reimbursement for client visits.
