As a Business Development Associate, a typical day might include the following:
Generate business through internet sources and coordinating internet promotions
Making outbound emails, calls and text messages to potential clients
Assists guests in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to the guest's responses
Book sales appointments with our Product Advisors
Present or complete remote sales transactions if the initial dealership visit is not possible
Introduces guests to dealership operations, including the service and parts departments, to emphasize to guests the quality and efficiency of the dealerships service operations
Maintains and achieves the given target and guest satisfaction objectives set by management
Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base
Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth
Provide financial information regarding lease and finance rates
Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research
Performs other duties as required.
Qualification and Requirements
Recommended 1-2 years of direct work experience in a sales, customer service or business development capacity
Demonstrated ability to convert prospects while maintaining established departmental quotas.
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills
Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Possess a valid driver's license
Valid OMVIC registration, a plus.
