Sales Associate (flooring Sales)

Jordans is a well-established Western Canadian company that continues to expand and grow. We are currently looking for a full-time Sales Associate to become part of our team at our Kamloops location
Jordans carries a wide variety of floor covering products including area rugs, carpeting, hardwood, vinyl plank, and many others. Having one of the best reputations in the industry for over 96 years, Jordans prides itself on customer service and having great employees is a key element in carrying on this tradition.
This position requires a combination of strong sales and organizational skills. Experience in retail sales or floor coverings is ideal but not mandatory as we will train the right applicant. This is a career opportunity with the potential for advancement.
Job Outline :
Maximize personal and store sales through excellent customer service, creative sales skills, and merchandising techniques Keep up-to-date on all merchandise and product knowledge in product categories throughout the store Help customers determine how much product they need for their projects and do in home estimates Provide excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm towards the job and company to both fellow employees and external customers in all forms of communication.
