Under the immediate authority of the Director of M\xc3\xa9ga Parc, you will carry out operations related to the sale and the realization of special events. You will have to plan and carry out representation and canvassing actions in the markets of school, social, tourist, corporate and other groups. Also, you will be responsible for the development and monitoring of events carried out in the Mega Park.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Maximize group sales by developing new markets and improving sales of already targeted niches
  • Develop promotional activities in collaboration with marketing;
  • Organize and carry out familiarization tours for different clienteles;
  • Plan, organize and direct activities or interventions aimed at representing the Mega Park at various events;
  • Participate in trade shows and other representational events;
  • Plan an agenda for customer meetings: meetings, groups, wholesalers, etc.;
  • Prepare proposals for groups, negotiate contracts in collaboration with the director of the M\xc3\xa9ga Parc and ensure follow-up;
  • Carry out the process of sales, reservation via the CNG platform and payment / follow-up accounts receivable for groups;
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and after-sales service;
  • Handle complaints, if necessary (English required);
  • Develop and maintain effective and harmonious relationships with customers, various tourism partners, local, regional and national stakeholders as well as with Mega Park partners (English required);
  • Collaborate in the marketing efforts, press relations and public relations of the M\xc3\xa9ga Parc;
  • Develop and coordinate special events scheduled on the calendar in collaboration with partners, suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Perform, within its field of competence, any other related task;
  • Be available evenings and weekends, if necessary, to meet the requirements of the task.
Requirements:
  • Hold a DEC in tourism or in a field relevant to the position, or equivalent experience in a similar job;
  • Have proven experience in the field of tourism and sales (in the tourism sector);
  • Have a minimum of experience in event management;
  • Possess the skills required for customer service and be results-oriented;
  • Demonstrate leadership, an excellent sense of organization and autonomy;
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaboratively with his immediate team and other departments;
  • Be a good communicator both orally and in writing;
  • Bilingual - You\'re fluent in French and English to serve our clients in the community;
  • Mastery of the Office suite;
  • Good availability, may sometimes be called upon to be present at corporate events or special events on evenings and weekends.
