# Remote #Permanent #Vancouver #Calgary Sales and Service Administrator KEY ACTIVITIES: 1. Administration
issue new policies, renew and process mid\xe2\x80\x90term and policy changes
coordinate and prepare client quotes
review experience and perform premium calculations
create/modify customized Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, Access databases and PowerPoint presentations
recommend/develop special administration for clients
make recommendations to improve department efficiency
monitor, update and distribute policy summaries/forms
\xc2\xb7 proofread forms for brokers/clients/others \xc2\xb7 assess and problem solve premium processing issues
contact brokers/policyholders with premium collection issues
2. Underwriting
receive quote requests and make product/benefit recommendations
evaluate quote requests against established rating structures
compose and prepare underwriting documentation for clients
maintain quotes/reports in Access databases and/or Excel spreadsheets
3. Technical
bind quotes and review documents for accuracy
prepare policy issuance instructions
review, determine benefits and write wordings for current policy change requests
interpret policy terms and provisions
4. Customer Service
foster relationships with brokers/clients to assist with policy implementation and administration via phone and email
explain/defend underwriting decisions
field accounting, administration, and licensing requests from brokers/clients
organize broker/company events
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma and Business Administration Diploma/Certificate or related experience
LOMA 1 and 2 considered an asset
2\xe2\x80\x905 years office experience; Customer service experience; Special Risk insurance experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem\xe2\x80\x90solving ability
organizational and multi\xe2\x80\x90tasking skills
Detail oriented, decisive, confident, professional, works well under pressure, team player, collaborates win\xe2\x80\x90win solutions
Advanced working knowledge of Windows\xe2\x80\x90based applications; Ability to communicate in French is an asset
