Position Title: National Sales Coordinator
Reports To: Director, Sales Planning & Strategy Execution
Department: Individual Insurance
Term: Full-Time, Permanent

Work Arrangements: We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately September 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.

Please note: Occasional travel may be required to support regional advisor roadshows, educational events, internal sales team meetings and other national events.

The Opportunity: Equitable Life is seeking a National Sales Coordinator to play an integral part in the success of our sales team!

The National Sales Coordinator is responsible for several key deliverables for the Individual Insurance sales team. The role will provide both administrative and sales support to the Head of Distribution, Individual Insurance, and the regional sales leadership teams, in addition to supporting the regional sales managers with various initiatives. As an integral part of the insurance sales team, the role is key in the planning, review and execution of initiatives designed to increase sales.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in planning and organizing regional advisor roadshows, educational events, internal sales team meetings and other national events
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Distribution, Individual Insurance and sales leaders with tasks such as expense submissions, travel arrangements, and presentation creation
  • Document, update and coordinate the onboarding process for new sales team members
  • Create and maintain national sales calendar
  • Provide support for regional targeted communications, marketing materials, and distribution lists
  • Complete ad hoc reporting as requested by sales leaders and team members
  • Support Head office sales leadership with projects and/or new initiatives
What you will bring:
  • 3 or more years work experience in the financial services industry with administrative, client service, marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to extract and manipulate data
  • Exceptional prioritization and time management skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility when dealing with changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, show initiative, and anticipate needs in a proactive manner
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow up
  • Knowledge of the life insurance industry is an asset
  • Familiarity and/or previous use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is an asset
