Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, a passion for food, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve deli items, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Operate Aloha POS and Micros POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling products and answering inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the deli area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and managing product rotation. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory tracking. Support bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean dining area.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or a quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred. Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage customers positively. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are required. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
