SALES AND CLIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE, Successful Investor Wealth Management Inc.
We are an established wealth management and investment publishing firm with 25+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in subscription marketing and independent portfolio management with assets under management verging on $1 billion and growing.
Successful Investor Wealth Management (\xe2\x80\x98SIWM\xe2\x80\x99) is actively seeking a Sales and Client Service professional with strong relationship management skills who will provide high quality service to high-net-worth prospects and clients and contribute to the growth of the organization.
Working in concert with the Sales and Customer Service teams the ideal candidate will have completed their Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and have a minimum of 3-years experience working in Sales or Client Service or similar role, preferably as an IIROC Sales Assistant or with the equivalent investment industry registration.
As the Sales and Client Service Associate you are a highly motivated and customer-focused individual whose responsibilities make for a diverse, active workday, providing key service support to new wealth management clients. The ideal candidate will bring their exceptional customer service and administrative skills to the job of managing new and prospective clients, including onboarding and opening accounts. The focus is on overseeing and executing the completion of documents and transfer of funds to ensure clients receive a pleasant onboarding experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SALES AND CLIENT SERVICE SUPPORT
  • Lead the onboarding process for all new clients.
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage the account opening process for new clients. This includes coordinating and assisting clients with the completion of all new onboarding paperwork, documents, IIROC account opening and transfer forms and communications.
  • Systematically manage the transfer of all documents needed to enroll new wealth management and pooled-fund clients to ensure accounts are opened in a timely fashion and all funds are transferred as planned.
  • Provide support and service to prospects and new clients related to our investment and pooled-fund services.
  • Book the initial portfolio set up and other client meetings with the Portfolio Manager(s).
  • Review the new client\xe2\x80\x99s sign-in info for on-line National Bank access and provide new user support.
  • Review all new client\xe2\x80\x99s first statement invoice to close out the onboarding process.
  • Track the progress of each new client so we meet onboarding objectives to ensure the process is easy and completed within our expected timelines.
  • Coordinate and assist our account executives\xe2\x80\x99 efforts to promptly answer all client queries by telephone (inbound & outbound), email, and in-person meetings.
  • Generate a variety of sales reports and client documentation, focused on prepping account executives for new client meetings and presentations.

REPORTING, ANALYSIS AND OTHER ADMINISTRATION
  • Sales reporting and analysis \xe2\x80\x93 weekly and monthly reporting of key sales and onboarding performance metrics, and various analytical projects.
  • Use the company\xe2\x80\x99s CRM (Maximizer) and portfolio reporting system (Ndex) to maintain prospect and client profiles, records and metrics to better track sales opportunities.
  • Oversee a variety of client account administrative tasks in support of sales efforts.
  • Help fulfill our client referral program.
  • Assist as needed with the account executive\xe2\x80\x99s seminar/webinar program.

REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications, Experience & Skills):
  • College/University graduate
  • 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a customer service role
  • 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 administration experience
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), or currently enrolled and in the process of completing.
  • Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM (customer relationship software)
  • Previous IIROC Sales Assistant, or equivalent, investment industry registration is preferred.
