Key Responsibilities
Sales to Mom-and-Pop Stores: Develop and maintain relationships with small independent retailers. Proactively approach potential clients, present product lines, and close sales to achieve growth targets.
Brand Initiatives: Initiate and execute brand-building campaigns and in-store activities to increase product visibility and customer engagement.
Private Label Order Management: Oversee private label orders for large customers, ensuring timely execution, accurate documentation, and clear communication with clients and production teams.
Sample and Product Testing Coordination: Manage the process of product sampling and testing. Coordinate with courier services to ensure timely delivery and return of samples for quality assurance.
Sales Representative Follow-Up: Work closely with sales representatives to track sales performance, ensure timely payments from mom-and-pop stores, and provide support to drive results.
MIS Support for India Office: Assist with Management Information System (MIS) tasks, ensuring accurate data flow and reporting between the Canadian and India offices.
Local Logistics: Handle logistics for local deliveries, manage shipping schedules, and resolve any issues related to transportation or warehousing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in back office or administrative roles, preferably in export or textile industries.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written); French language skills are a plus.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and invoicing software.
Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and digital marketing tools.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours to support international coordination and local client needs.
Previous experience in sales, preferably within the textile or retail sector.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Experience with logistics, courier management, or supply chain processes is an asset.
Comfortable with basic MIS tasks and cross-office collaboration.
Self-starter with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
