MK Global Trade is the largest and fastest-growing barter exchange in Manitoba. We have over 600 local clients. Business-to-business (B2B) bartering is the exchange of goods and services between business owners without the use of cash. It offers the opportunity to support local businesses, expand clientele and offers a way to sell inventory without using existing capital. The values have stayed the same, but MK Global Trade's barter approaches have always been unique and different. We are here to support our clients, local business owners and connect with other businesses in impactful ways.

Job: Sales and Barter Coordinator

We are looking to add a Sales and Barter Coordinator to the team who is self-motivated, personable and has a desire to support local businesses. The successful candidate will be able to think independently, take initiative and create long-lasting relationships with our clients while bringing in new leads.

Job Summary:

As the Sales and Barter Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining business and client relations, bringing in new clients and supporting the administration team.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the lead point of contact for all client and business matters. Build and maintain strong and long-lasting client relationships. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our trade solutions according to client needs and objectives. Develop new business with existing clients as well as source new businesses to join MK Global Trade. Collaborate with the marketing and administration team to identify growth opportunities. Support business growth of MK Global Trade through contributing to social media and newsletters. Other duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Abilities:

• 2+ years of Sales and business development experience is an asset.
• Must have own vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a high level of emotional intelligence coupled with a positive outlook in the workplace.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills shown in sound decision-making.
• Highly organized and efficient time management skills, with the ability to prioritize.

Job: Full -time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00 per hour, + Commission to start, with commission increasing and bonus incentives upon completion of probation period.
Schedule: 8 hour - Day shift - Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm. No weekends!
