Who We Are Looking For

We are looking to hire dynamic individuals for our recently renovated, modern office in the heart of downtown. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, as well as the ability to influence others and manage difficult conversations. They should also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, collaborate between departments, and prioritize efficiently to meet deadlines. Enthusiasm for monitoring different markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

Account Management:



Proactively manage and grow the supplier base by maintaining an up-to-date supplier list and consistently adding new, qualified vendors through ongoing outreach and evaluation. Review Lead, Prospect and Client records to ensure that the data entered into these records is accurate and kept up to date Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to achieve favorable terms. Follow-up with accounts that have been sold to ensure that communication between our teams and our clients is clear and consistent.

Order Processing:



Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives. Investigates customer invoicing problems relating to pricing errors, price protection, claims, short shipments, freight claims. Corrects any discrepancies in accordance with policies and procedures. Perform daily reviews of purchase requests and the inventory management system, ensuring purchase orders are issued in a timely manner

Triaging Issues with Accounts:



Escalating issues that require director involvement to the Manager Acts as support for the day to day management in accounts, including but not limited to product availability, orders processed, and navigating Ensure timely delivery of goods to the company's processing yard by coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams, and resolve any delivery or shipping issues that arise. Work collaboratively with other team members in operations, customer service and sales departments. Communicate problems and solutions effectively and efficiently, keeping exceptional customer service top of mind
Experience

1+ years of experience in sales administration, account management or a similar role is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field preferred. Excellent problem solving and analysis skills to find alternative choices Demonstrated ability in negotiation and pricing strategies to maximize value. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate across departments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
