Island Home Furniture Campbell River is looking for a part time Sales Administrator to help sales team provide superior customer service.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Administrator participates in all areas of customer service and administration.

Main Duties:



Delivering exceptional customer service Field incoming calls in a professional manner Merchandising and upkeep of the sales floor Following up with outstanding Purchase Orders Organizing deliveries and collecting outstanding payments Providing sales and marketing support On occasion, help customers navigate through the store Order entry onto internal software

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required



Experience working in an administrative/customer service role Fast and accurate data entry skills with the ability to multi-task Effective verbal and written communication Experience managing customer conflict and escalation Ability to establish priorities, work and think independently without direct supervision Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience Requirements



Previous customer service experience is required Previous sales experience is an asset Experience with Interior Design is an asset
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week

Work Location: In person
