Summary
We are currently recruiting for a 12-month (maternity leave coverage) Sales Administrator in Calgary. Reporting to the Sales Manager, Oil & Gas, the successful candidate will be responsible to provide support for the account management team.
Role and Responsibilities
Administrative support for sales team members across all Spartan customer segments
General daily administration for the Sales Managers and Account Managers
Support of the outside sales team, including coordination of customer bbq\xe2\x80\x99s, ticket and membership management and event planning
Onsite and organizational support of the marketing team, for both customer and internal events
May require some after-hours participation for Customer or Internal events.
Create and maintain processes and procedures to support the efforts of the Outside Sales team
Support of project pursuit processes as required by the Sales lead
Support of sales training programs, team onboarding and development tools as required by Sales Management
Systems and database support including sales web page tools, customer relationship management software and account assignments
Telephone and email backup coverage for sales team members
Qualifications and Skills
Post-secondary education/credential preferred
Valid driver\'s license considered an asset
ProServe, responsible liquor service training license considered an asset
Related experience with a proven track record of success in confidential administrative support roles would be an asset
Interest in and knowledge of Spartan\'s customer base; segmentation, value propositions, projects funnel
Advanced skills and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Effective management of priorities and multiple deadlines
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Able to multitask and function well in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Highly motivated and innovative
Confident self-starter with limited need for supervision
Entrepreneurial work ethic
