What we're looking for...

Ambitious and outgoing individuals who are interested in building an outside sales career within the freight forwarding logistics industry. Ability to build relationships while cold calling and be confident in presenting information to prospective customers on the company's shipping services during face-to-face meetings. 1-5 years of experience working as a freight forwarder or in the logistics industry.

Interfreight Logistics will provide you with an opportunity to build your book of business and become more knowledgeable about the shipping/logistics industry.

Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

About the Position

Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Generate new business through cold calling Build and maintain a customer base by recognizing freight forwarding business opportunities. Partner with internal subject matter experts to become well educated in all Interfreight logistics products and services. Offer solutions through Interfreight logistics's services including import and export ocean/air, warehousing & distribution, LTL & FTL transportation, cargo insurance and customs brokerage. Achieve monthly sales quotas set by the sales management team. Utilize to track client's key information, build and maintain sales pipeline, and measure KPIs. Work closely with the sales support team by reviewing quotes to ensure the client's needs are met. Meet with current and potential clients within assigned territory. Maintain consistent communication with other departments and overseas agent. Monitor international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
