C&D Logistics is a next generation 3PL headquartered in Surrey, BC, with over 25 years of industry experience and expertise facilitating the transport of freight globally.
We are seeking an ambitious, dynamic and results-driven sales professional to identify, develop, maintain and grow client relationships within the logistics and transportation industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain solutions, excellent communication skills, and a passion for achieving sales targets.
This role involves generating new business through cold-calling, in-person prospect engagement and diligent follow-up activities.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospect and generate new business opportunities within target markets.
Effectively convey C&D's services unique value proposition.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Present and promote logistics services, including freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain solutions.
Assist in the negotiation of contracts, rates, and terms of service with clients.
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any client issues.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
Achieve and exceed sales KPIs and revenue goals.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and documentation as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in a professional selling environment, preferably within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
Understanding of logistics services, transportation modes, and supply chain management.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
PREFFERED SKILLS
Existing network within the industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field would be considered an asset.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position involves cold-calling, client visits, participation in trade shows, collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
