We're looking for an ambitious and tenacious

Sales Account Executive

to join our team. Reporting to the VP, Growth & Sales Enablement, you'll be navigating the large animal veterinary industry and finding new growth opportunities to target, expand, and scale our cutting-edge practice management software.

Identify New Business Opportunities

- Research and pursue potential customers to expand the client base.

Conduct Product Demonstrations

- Present products to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits.

Manage Key Accounts

- Serve as the primary liaison for important clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong relationships.

Develop Strategy to Meet Sales Targets

- Consistently achieve or surpass established sales goals and objectives and work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align strategies and meet client needs.

Maintain CRM Systems

- Keep detailed records of client interactions and sales activities using Customer Relationship Management software and generate regular reports detailing sales performance and forecasts for management review.

I gained my knowledge through a bachelor's degree in business or an equivalent discipline, 3-5 years of direct experience in veterinary sales or marketing, or a combination of both. I have knowledge of veterinary medicine sales, large animal product lines, or tools and services that farm or veterinary practices use on a daily basis. I have experience with sales enablement tools and CRM such as HubSpot or SalesLoft. I get most excited about wearing multiple hats and diving headfirst into every opportunity the industry throws my way. I love the challenge, the variety, and the chance to constantly grow and contribute in new ways. I am outgoing and passionate about being a thought leader and participating in industry opportunities, giving presentations, delivering webinars, or hosting panels about the veterinary industry. I have a proven ability to be a self-driven, highly entrepreneurial person with a love of meeting new people wherever they are. I'm willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA. I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate. I love to be directly involved in projects and initiatives that offer continued learning and endless opportunity to express my ideas and build my leadership skills.
