Position Description



At Bravo Target Safety our purpose is to get all workers home safely every day. We provide safety coordination, project planning and trained safety personnel for turnaround, construction, drilling, and day-to-day field operations. We are actively seeking experienced local Safety/Rescue Personnel for ongoing, day-to-day projects. All successful applicants will be enrolled in our comprehensive safety program to ensure our Safety Watch personnel are competent in providing high caliber safety support to our on-site customers. What you bring:

• Reliable transportation, to and from site. (some jobs don\xe2\x80\x99t require vehicles)
• Ability to travel and work in remote areas for extended periods of time
• Comply with all of Bravo Target Safety\xe2\x80\x99s and/or Clients rules and expectations
• Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of your job
• Treat all contractors, clients and fellow employees with respect
• Must be fluent in English, reading, writing, and speaking. (lots of radio communications and paperwork)
• Flexible to work, day or night shift
• Ability to work in a team environment or work alone with a crew
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test (pre-employment and pre-access)
• Successfully complete our online training programs (SWIP-Work hub)
• Clean Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License to operate Bravo Target Safety vehicles.
• H2S Alive, Common Safety Orientation. Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level A or C
• Computer to access on-line training

What you do:

• Providing, adhering, and promoting safety on site in accordance with company/client policies and procedures including industry practices and client regulation
• Understanding how to point out potential hazards, while filling out field level hazards
• Knowing Emergency Protocol. For example, Muster points, meeting areas, evacuation routes, and how to call in an emergency over the radio. (High Risk Areas)
• Communicating by using radios. Must be clear and concise. Comfortable with two-way communication
• Keeping a detailed log of activities, through checklists, daily logs, and other paperwork
• Intervening unsafe acts. Properly stop a job to reassess hazards and make sure everyone is safe
• Attending daily safety meetings and toolbox meetings, to understand potential hazards or incidents from previous shifts
• Ensuring constant communication with leads on site, for any issues, concerns or needs
• Some duties may require more certifications, training or assessments provided by Bravo Target Safety

Please note, that this is a seasonal position, successful candidates can advance into other roles such as equipment techs and technical rescue. This increases opportunities for future turn-around scopes and other day-to-day operations. Previous experience is valued, however training will be provided to candidates that meet pre-requisite requirements.
