The Safety Audit Review Analyst will be part of a growing team at the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA), playing an important role in maintaining the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program. This role will support members with their audit submissions, developing their knowledge and skills, while ensuring audits meet government requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze member audits to ensure legislative compliance and ACSA quality assurance.
Address member inquiries and concerns promptly by phone, email, and in person.
Serve as a key resource, guiding audit standards while enhancing the customer service experience.
Provide recommendations for process improvement of auditing standards and member experience.
Collaborate on project work, providing subject matter expertise related to the Safety Audits and Certifications Operational Plans as required.
Promote evidence-based decision-making by staying informed with the latest news, tools, and industry trends.
Represent Your ACSA's brand consistently and professionally while demonstrating integrity, honesty, and respect in all interactions.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
+ Post-secondary degree, diploma, and/or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
+ National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO/NHSA) designation.
+ Working to obtain a Canadian Registered Safety designation.
+ Auditor certification is considered an asset.
Experience:
+ 3+ years of experience in health and safety within a high-risk industry such as construction or oil & gas.
+ Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) software experience.
Required skills and abilities:
+ Knowledge of COR programs.
+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently as a strong and contributing member in a team environment.
+ Excels at creative thinking and problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail.
+ Exhibits professionalism in representing Your ACSA.
Logistics
Daily work hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
This role is eligible for a hybrid work model (ACSA Edmonton office).
This role reports to the Manager of COR.
Salary:
$60,195 - $64,786
