The Opportunity
We're looking for a
detail-oriented, financially savvy, and trustworthy Audit & Compliance Analyst
to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance across our 19 businesses by conducting audits of financial transactions, inventory records, and operational procedures.
Working closely with Finance, Operations, and People & Culture, you'll help safeguard the integrity of our systems, identify risks, and recommend improvements. If you've got experience in hospitality, strong financial acumen, and a natural ability to build trust, this role is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic BC tourism and hospitality company.

What You'll Be Doing
Audit financial transactions, inventory, and POS systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Identify inconsistencies, trends, and risks in sales and operational records.
Partner with managers to strengthen best practices for compliance, security, and loss prevention.
Collaborate with People & Culture on investigations, ensuring fairness and discretion.
Deliver clear reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Develop and support training programs that improve compliance practices across teams.
Stay current on industry best practices to keep our compliance systems strong.

What You Bring to the Table
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry (essential).
Alignment with The Gibbons values, especially Encourage Trust.
Strong financial acumen and exceptional attention to detail.
Experience working with POS, inventory, and financial management systems.
Previous auditing experience preferred (but not required).
A proactive self-starter who thrives when working independently and takes initiative.
Strong analytical skills to spot patterns and trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
