Job Description

Overview:

We are a family owned/operated safety consulting business. We work with a variety of trades, assisting them with their safety programs in different capacities. We are looking for an independent, dynamic individual to work full or part time.

Work varies from office work to site visits. Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle. Steel toed boots a must!

Start times vary day to day, but the work is Monday to Friday. Typical day would start between 6:30-8:00 am.

Duties:

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures as a team Site visits/conduct regular safety inspections and audits Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions Provide safety training to employees Investigate incidents and near-misses Maintain safety records and documentation Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices
Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport with employees at all levels Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Proven experience in occupational health and safety Knowledge of safety regulations and standards Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office 365
Nice-to-have skills:

Familiarity with SiteDocs
