RV repair, trailer repair, and structural rebuild work
. This role includes traditional RV service as well as
carpentry, framing, wall installation, and complete trailer and cargo trailer rebuilds
.
This position is well-suited for candidates with experience in
RV repair, trailer repair, carpentry, construction, or general mechanical trades
looking for steady work and long-term growth.
Responsibilities
RV repair and maintenance on travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, and cargo trailers
Pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and accessory installations
Diagnose and repair
RV electrical systems, propane systems, and plumbing systems
Repair and install RV appliances including furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, A/C units, and stoves
Perform
structural RV repairs
, including framing, subfloors, walls, roofs, and body panels
Complete
carpentry and woodwork
, including flooring, cabinetry, trim, and interior repairs
Install and replace
RV and trailer walls
, insulation, and paneling
Assist with or complete
full trailer rebuilds and water damage repairs
Perform trailer brake service, wheel bearings, tire changes, and suspension maintenance
Install trailer hitches and wire tow vehicles
Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently
Read service manuals, schematics, and parts catalogues
Document repairs and communicate with the service team
(No engine or drivetrain repair required)
Qualifications
Experience as an
RV Technician, RV Service Technician, Trailer Technician, or RV Repair Technician
OR experience in
carpentry, construction, renovation, or mechanical trades
Strong understanding of
electrical, plumbing, and propane systems
Ability to perform or learn
structural framing and rebuild work
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
