Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Russian Speaking Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team and provide exceptional care to individuals in need of assistance. Duties



Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings accurately Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA privacy standards Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and assist residents with transfers safely Maintain detailed care plans for each client, documenting progress and any incidents or concerns Conduct patient observation to ensure safety and well-being at all times Perform light cleaning duties to uphold a hygienic environment within the home or facility Assist with housekeeping tasks in group home or assisted living settings to promote comfort and cleanliness Support clients during social activities, engaging them in meaningful interactions to enhance their quality of life Follow all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures to respond effectively during emergencies Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to deliver comprehensive care Comply with all regulations related to home health, hospice care, dementia/memory care, autism support, and developmental disabilities

Qualifications



Fluent in Russian with excellent verbal communication skills; proficiency in English is preferred but not required Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs measurement Experience with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory support, or hospice services is advantageous Familiarity with assisting residents with ADLs and using mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for patient transfers or moving supplies Certification in CPR and First Aid from recognized organizations is preferred Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information Demonstrated compassion for working with people with disabilities, developmental disabilities, autism or mental health needs Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate documentation and care plans Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments
