Competition Number2025-NON-009Job TypeFull-time PermanentHours1.00 FTEClassificationRural Generalist Council CoordinatorDepartmentAdministrationSalary$45.7544 to $51.6232 per hourClosing DateFriday, February 21, 2025DescriptionReporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and collaborating with a Council that consists of four (4) Physicians, four (4) Executive Directors, three (3) Indigenous Community Representatives, an Elder and one Medical Director (Ex-Officio), the Rural Generalist Council Coordinator is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of administrative support functions related to physician and provider resource management. This includes scheduling meetings with stakeholders, managing ministry reporting and tracking requirements, facilitating regular feedback to the Council, and coordinating physician and/or provider contracts, physician scheduling and billing. The coordinator also oversees the full-cycle physician onboarding process and ensures the fair allocation of physician resources to service provider organizations, prioritizing customer service and operational efficiency in the service delivery model.This position requires a proactive individual able to plan, anticipate needs and take responsibility for resolving matters independently. Qualifications
  • Completion of post-secondary education at the college or university level in a complementary discipline
  • Proficiency in various software applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using MetricAid an asset
  • Proven experience in administrative support, resource coordination, or a related role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Exceptional interpersonal and public relations skills
  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to maintain positive stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent minute taking skills
  • Excellent written/oral communication
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Minimum 60 wpm keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Demonstrated initiative to identify/recommend improvements, and willingness to assume projects as assigned
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development
  • Ability to maintain composure and productivity in a fast-faced dynamic environment
