Starting Rate:

$16.89 per hour


We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $17.89

Please Note

: This is a

temporary casual

position without staff accommodation; applicants must have or be able to secure their own housing. Availability must include a minimum of 2 days per week with 8 hours per shift, contingent upon business levels permitting


Job Duties Include:



Complete Daily Operations (i.e. opening and closing duties, stocking, polishing, cleaning and maintaining walk-ins, fridges and other areas as assigned by the MOD) Meet and greet guests and coordinate with other colleagues and MOD regarding preferences, allergies and special occasions Have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods Maintain quality and timeliness of service and practice effective up selling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenue Maintain accurate billing, cash handling and float procedures Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:



Must have Pro-Serve Certification Minimum 2 years' experience as a Server in a high-volume and fast paced environment required Previous point-of-sale system experience required Extensive wine, beer and cocktail knowledge is essential Must be able to carry and serve 3 plates at one time Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays Must be able to lift and carry up to 40+lbs and be able to be on your feet for 8 hours or more
